The Pole2Pole Cup Amateur 2012, competition is now in the second year. This competition is for the amateur pole dancer only meaning beginner & novice. There are no inversions permitted in the competition however you are permit to climbing & sitting on the pole as this is very basic plus you may do this anyway you wish to as long as you do not allow your head to drop below your backside as this is not allowed. The purpose of this competition is pole dancing so the competitors are required to dance with the pole rather than perform tricks on the pole as an amateur.

Why has the competition been set up?
The amateur pole dancer (student) also known as a beginner or novice that may be a little worried after seeing other amateur competitions where the amateur pole dancers are doing inversions, tricks & lots of other upside down moves then end up performing just like the professional pole dancer. We are therefore looking to keep this competition as a true amateur pole dancing competition & only see amateur pole dancing as it should be at this level.

Heats, Winners & Grand Final?
The competition will hold heats around the UK in 2012 with the Grand Final held on Friday 19th October 2012 in Essex. The first & second place contestants only from each heat progress forward to the grand final. Contestants who do not make the final still receive one free entry ticket to the final as a spectator.

Prizes?
Prizes will be shared between first, second & third at the final only, all the other contestants at the final will still receive a medal and goodie bag. Pole dance course with one well known pole dance studio in the UK, automatic entry into the amateur category of The British Isles Pole Dance Champion 2012, competition held the next day, one night hotel paid, free tickets to many other pole dancing competition and events in 2012, lots of pole dancing products from our sponsors and much more. This amateur competition is the biggest prize giveaway competition held in the UK.

Judging?
Standardised score sheets are used throughout all the heats & grand final this way the marking is on the same basis all heatswilll have 3 judges. Once your entry forms has been received the form will be directed to the correct heat organizer who will reply back to you with their conformation letter for you to be able to attend at their heat.

The Essex Heat.
The 1st place winner & the runner up only from the Essex heat will move forward to the grand final on Friday 19th October 2012, at The Civic Hall Grays Essex. All the other Essex heat contestants that do not make the grand final will still receive one free ticket to attend the final.
