This competition is for the professional pole dancer, meaning the pole dancer who uses pole dancing as a source of income or as their profession, such as club, podium, exotic dancer or instructor. To keep this competition miles apart from other professional pole dancing c...ompetition within the UK, you must not have won or been placed 1st at any pole dance competition.

Why has the competition been set up.
The UK pole dance industry has hundreds of professional pole dancers including pole dance instructors who find it a little worrying about entering any professional pole dancing competition within the UK, after seeing other competitions that have a professional category and any 1st place title holder may enter when they should only be performing in the Champion of Champions category. Therefore by launching The Pole2Pole Cup 2012 Professional competition for the professional dancer and by keeping a level playing field and not allowing any 1st place title holders in this competition. The professional pole dancer within the UK pole dance industry now knows there is the opportunity to enter a professional competition.

The Essex Heat.
The 1st place winner and the runner up of the Essex heat will move forward to the grand final being held on Friday 19th October 2012, at The Civic Hall Grays Essex. All other Essex heat contestants that do not make the grand final will still receive one free ticket to attend the grand final.

The Prize.
Prizes will be shared between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the grand final only. All contestants at the grand final will receive a medal and pole dancing goodie bag. Some of the other fantastic prizes inclued, training course with a well known European pole dance school, entry to the professional category of The British Isles Pole Dance Champion 2012, competition the next day, grace the cover of Pole2Pole Magazine, free tickets to many other pole dance competition in 2012, pole dance products and much more.
