This competition is for the professional pole dancer, meaning a pole dancer who uses pole dancing as a source of income or as their profession, such as club, podium, exotic dancer or instructor. To keep this competition miles apart from other professional pole dancing competition in the UK, you must not have won or been placed 1st at any pole dance competition in the world.

Why has the competition been set up.

Within the UK po...le dance industry there are hundreds of professional pole dancers including pole dance instructors who find it a little worrying about entering any pole dancing competitions after seeing other competitions with a professional category where 1st place title holders are entering and end up performing like they are in a Champion of Champions category. Therefore by launching The Pole2Pole Cup 2012 UK Professional competition for the professional dancer and keeping this competition on a level playing field by not allowing any 1st place title holders to enter now the professional pole dancer within the UK pole dance industry now know and have the opportunity to enter a professional competition that is on a much more level playing field.

The Heats, The Winners & The Grand Final.

Heats are being held around the UK starting from 2012, with the Grand Final held on Friday 19th October 2012, at The Civic Hall Grays Essex. First place winners and runner ups at each heat move forward to the grand final. Contestants who have not made the grand final will still receive a free ticket to attend the final.

The Prize.

Prizes will be shared between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the grand final only. All contestants at the final will still receive a medal and pole dancing goodie bag. The Judging.

Standardised score sheets will be used throughout all the heats and the grand final. Heats will have 3 judges. Once entry forms are received they will be directed to the correct heat organizer who will then reply with their own conformation letter to attend their heat.
