To pole or not to pole - that is the question!

Hello and thanks for checking out my new blog.

It is so exciting being part of the Pole2pole world as it is being part of all the other areas of pole I am involved in and I am looking foward to doing this blog. I plan to do weekly updates as so much happens in the world of pole, there is always something to write about or comment on.

First things first -  I will admit, I don't pole. There I said it. Sorry. I keep meaning to, especially as I have run Dance Inspires in Oxford for nearly four years! The thing is, I always seem to be doing other pole related activities. "There is always time for pole" I hear you shout at me! The thing is, I have such a fantastic bunch of instructors, we have a great timetable at the studio and I don't want to intimidate either the instructors or the students by popping into classes. Especially as I also have to do reception duties, clean the studio, take the bookings, blah, blah, blah...........

Actually, I did have a few goes some time ago and have been told I do a lovely Back Hook Spin (Backwards Walk) but that it is about it. So, like it or lump it, I love all things pole related but don't pole dance! Maybe I will try and find the time to have a go at one move a week as my youngest daughter has just completed her instructor training and I have lost 20lbs in the last few months - oh dammit - she has just read this over my shoulder and is on the case! Can I do the Ballerina this week please?

Watch this space!!
