Poleathon pole dance 2009 for Children in Need

That’s said “Do something different for Children in Need” and straight away the idea of a fundraising Pole-a-Thon came to mind. I put the word out to see what people thought and it send out quite a BUZZ! So I found a venue, a local pub and decided to go for it. I managed to rally round and get some great raffle prizes including 1-2-1 Pole lesson with JoJo’s Pole Fitness and a photo shoot with Jason Parlour photography and with getting the “Pollers” to make a donation to join in the Pole relay I knew we’d be in with a chance of raising some good money. The evening was a fantastic event and with a core group of hard core dancers and some “featured” performances we kept the relay going for four and a half hours. Girls took part from beginners through to instructors. The pub was packed and everyone had a great time, so far we have raised almost £300.00 for Children in Need and have encouraged some more girls to have a try at pole. I’d like to thank everyone who came, took part and supported us. Jessica H Griffiss.

A BIG thank you to Claire, Karla Rachel, Karla Zoe, Trixie.
